Welcome to

Columbus Anglican Mission

Attending, Embodying, and Extending
the Life of Christ in Columbus.

Columbus Anglican Mission started as a hopeful church plant at the end of 2019.  Throughout the pandemic, we met online to pray together, build community, and to discern a way forward.  So many of us who gathered were new to the Anglican Church and we found our faith coming alive in worship through the rhythms the Anglican tradition invites us to.

As we grew together,  it became clear that the important first step was for us to be integrated in an Anglican community to learn, to regularly worship, and for our leadership to be ordained.  To that end, we have transitioned our community into St. Andrew’s Anglican Church in Lewis Center where we are slowly continuing to discern if and when God will have us plant in Columbus.

For now, we are enjoying getting rooted in the church family of St. Andrew’s. We don’t know what the future will hold but we remain open to the ways God will lead us.  If you are looking for an Anglican community, we invite you to join us at St. Andrew’s.

for the sake of our city.
We invite you to come and participate!
We worship liturgically, we quietly and intentionally attend to God’s work within, and we creatively join him in his restorative work in the world.  As we do, we are discovering how good He is and how alive we are meant to me.
The Columbus Anglican Mission is a new community with a vision for cultivating a network of neighborhood parishes across the city. We are part of The Diocese of Churches for the Sake of Others (C4SO), led by Bishop Todd Hunter. C4SO seeks to plant new churches that announce, embody, and demonstrate the Kingdom of God.

Who we are (becoming)

We are an emerging contemplative faith community nourished by the life of Jesus Christ.  As we receive his Word, partake together at his Table, and participate in his creative action in and around us we are becoming

Fully Alive in the love of God
